- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 (15-ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add black beans and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in lime juice. Serve hot.
