Ingredients

- 2 tuna steaks (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides of the tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for more well-done.
- Remove from skillet and let rest for a minute.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For a crust, you can coat the tuna in sesame seeds before searing.
