Description

Classic comfort food casserole with ground beef, noodles, and sour cream.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream.
  5. Combine beef mixture with cooked egg noodles.
  6. Pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
