Description

A simple shepherd’s pie casserole recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in onion and mixed vegetables; cook until onion is softened.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and milk; pour over the beef mixture.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
  7. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
