Description
Make high-protein bagels using Greek yogurt and bake them in the oven.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 cups non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, self-rising flour, Greek yogurt, honey, and salt.
- Mix until a dough forms.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a long rope and form into a bagel shape, pinching the ends together.
- Place bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each bagel with beaten egg and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a softer bagel, let the dough rest for 10 minutes before shaping.
- Add protein powder to the dough for an extra protein boost.
