Description

A meatloaf that combines the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and shape into a loaf.
  4. Place meatloaf in a baking dish and top with provolone cheese.
  5. Pour beef broth around the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
