Description

Make homemade cookies inspired by Oreo flavors and designs.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  4. Roll dough out and cut into circles.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Fill with your choice of cream filling.
