Simple one-pan chicken and rice dish with honey butter garlic flavor.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear chicken in the skillet until browned on both sides. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add rice to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Pour in chicken broth, honey, butter, and garlic. Stir to combine.
- Place chicken thighs on top of the rice mixture.
- Cover the skillet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until rice is cooked and chicken is done.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add vegetables like broccoli or carrots to the skillet along with the rice.
- Adjust honey and garlic to your preference.
