This Christmas cookie dough recipe requires no chilling and does not stick, making it easy to use.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  6. Place cookies on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
