Description

Quick and easy Mongolian beef noodles recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak and cook until browned.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in brown sugar and water. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve.
