Description
Make these bite-sized tiramisu truffles for parties or gifts. They capture the classic tiramisu flavor in a simple, no-bake treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package (about 10.5 ounces) ladyfingers, finely crushed
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the cooled coffee, coffee liqueur, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed ladyfingers until evenly distributed.
- Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Remove the chilled mixture from the refrigerator. Roll into small, bite-sized balls.
- Place the cocoa powder in a shallow dish. Roll each truffle in the cocoa powder until fully coated.
- Arrange the mini tiramisu truffles on a serving plate. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, you can add a bit more coffee liqueur.
- Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- If the mixture is too soft to roll, chill for a longer period.
