Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish (optional)
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions

- Add the dried lavender buds to the sugar syrup. Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds. Let the syrup cool completely.
- In the pitcher, combine the cooled lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice, garnished with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- Ensure you use culinary-grade lavender.
- Adjust the amount of sugar and lemon juice to your preference.
- For a stronger lavender flavor, steep the buds for a longer period.
