Description
A simple side dish of carrots and green beans with a honey glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Steam or boil carrots and green beans until tender-crisp.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add honey and lemon juice to the skillet.
- Stir in carrots and green beans.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until glazed, about 5 minutes.
Notes
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or toasted sesame seeds.
