Ingredients

- 1/2 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine sugar, applesauce, coconut oil, vanilla, and egg.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Pour brownie batter into a pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the batter and swirl.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting.
