Grilled chicken with a sweet and tangy Hawaiian BBQ sauce.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, add more red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice and grilled pineapple.
