Description

A simple and delicious green bean casserole, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked green beans (about 2 1-lb bags frozen or 1.5 lbs fresh)
  • 1 can (6 oz) french fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cooked green beans and stir to coat them evenly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with french fried onions.
  7. Bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

Notes

  • For fresh green beans, blanch them before adding to the casserole.
  • You can add a pinch of garlic powder for extra flavor.
