Description

A creamy beef stroganoff recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 500g beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 250g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 100ml beef stock
  • 200ml sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add the beef sirloin strips and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the sliced chestnut mushrooms, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika to the pan. Stir well.
  5. Pour in the beef stock and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
