Description
A creamy beef stroganoff recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 500g beef sirloin, cut into strips
- 250g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 100ml beef stock
- 200ml sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Add the beef sirloin strips and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the sliced chestnut mushrooms, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika to the pan. Stir well.
- Pour in the beef stock and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
