Garlic Lemon Butter Chicken

Description

Chicken breasts cooked in a garlic lemon butter sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has reduced slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Stir in parsley.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  10. Serve immediately.
