Description

Quick steak bites in garlic butter, served with a rich Parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix steak cubes with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter with olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned on all sides.
  4. Add garlic and remaining butter to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until garlic is fragrant.
  5. Remove steak bites from skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring until cheese is melted and sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat with the Parmesan cream sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the steak while cooking.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
