A simple and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and crisp broccoli in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add broccoli florets and chicken broth to the skillet. Cover and steam for 3-5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, or until sauce has slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
- Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
