Description

Hearty beef stew with a rich tomato and onion base.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef cubes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown beef cubes in olive oil in a large pot.
  2. Add onions and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, cumin, coriander, and cinnamon.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5-2 hours, or until beef is tender.
  6. Serve hot.
