π₯©π₯ Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Mash

Steak Bites:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Mashed Potatoes:
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Prepare the mashed potatoes:
- Boil the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash with milk, butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Cover and keep warm.
- Cook the steak bites:
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites, season with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and butter. SautΓ© minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Combine:
- Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Serve:
- Plate the mashed potatoes and top with steak bites and garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
