π Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic

- 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, and paprika.
- Drizzle the mixture evenly over the cod fillets, making sure to coat them well.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12β15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or steamed rice.
