Description
A simple cabbage soup for detoxification.
Ingredients

- 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 green bell peppers, chopped
- 1 bunch of celery, chopped
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 8 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the cabbage, bell peppers, celery, green onions, diced tomatoes, and carrots.
- Add the oregano, basil, vegetable broth, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or zucchini.
- For a spicier soup, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- This soup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
