Description
Tender steak bites cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak bites in batches and transfer to the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Pour beef broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar over the steak bites in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the steak is tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Pour the slurry into the crockpot and stir to combine.
- Cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot.

- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
- Add vegetables like carrots or potatoes to the crockpot for a complete meal.
