Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken

Description

Chicken breasts cooked in a lemon garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir in lemon zest and red pepper flakes.
  7. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until sauce has slightly thickened.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve.
