Description

Prepare chicken with a crispy parmesan crust in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, place the beaten egg.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then dredge in the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.
  5. Drizzle chicken with olive oil.
  6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Parmesan mixture.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
