Description

Simple potato recipe that allows you to choose your preferred texture.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Add butter and milk or cream.
  4. Mash for creamy potatoes, or spread on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for crispy potatoes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
