Creamy Garlic Chicken

Description

Chicken in a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly and chicken is heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
