Description
Chicken in a creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly and chicken is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
- Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
- Add vegetables such as spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
