Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 12 ounces pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add tomato sauce and cream of mushroom soup. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in sour cream and milk. Heat through.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk.
  • Add vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms to the sauce.
