Description
Slow-cooked steak with cowboy butter.
Ingredients

- 2 lb steak
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Place steak in slow cooker.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter and pour over steak.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In a small saucepan, melt remaining 2 tbsp butter.
- Add garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Pour cowboy butter over steak before serving.

- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
