Description

Simple snowball cookies made with condensed milk.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and condensed milk until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
  5. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool slightly.
  8. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
  9. Let cool completely on wire racks.
  10. Roll again in powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For a nutty flavor, add 1/2 cup of finely chopped nuts to the dough.
