Chicken breasts coated in parmesan and served with a garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the Parmesan mixture, coating evenly.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  6. Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  7. While chicken is baking, prepare the garlic cream sauce. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat.
  8. Add minced garlic and simmer for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  9. Stir in fresh parsley.
  10. Serve chicken breasts topped with garlic cream sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Parmesan mixture.
  • Serve with a side of pasta or roasted vegetables.
