- 1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into 6-8 bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the coated cinnamon roll pieces in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked cinnamon roll bites to the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until heated through.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture.
- Use day-old cinnamon rolls for a firmer texture.
