Description
A creamy cheesecake with swirls of chocolate and strawberry.

- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup strawberry puree
- 1/4 cup melted chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract and eggs, then stir in sour cream.
- Divide batter in half. To one half, add strawberry puree. To the other half, add melted chocolate.
- Spoon dollops of each batter alternately over the crust. Swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until center is almost set.
- Let cool in the oven with the door open for 1 hour. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother cheesecake, use room temperature cream cheese.
- To prevent cracks, place a pan of water on the bottom rack of the oven while baking.
