Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a fudgier cookie, slightly underbake them.
