- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 sheet (14.1 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Cut into desired shapes (squares or rectangles).
- Top each pastry with cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
- Add fruit preserves or fresh berries on top of the cheesecake filling before baking.
