Description

Chicken simmered in a flavorful garlic ginger broth with a caramelized soy glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless, skinless
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar.
  2. Marinate chicken in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat.
  4. Brown the chicken on all sides.
  5. Add garlic and ginger to the pot and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.
